    1. What Compass™ Is

    Compass is an educational safety app made by Find Love Safely™, LLC. It includes ScamCheck™ (look at a message and see if it might be a scam), Haven (practice conversations with a friendly AI coach), Learning Pathways, and Live Workshops.

    Compass is not legal, financial, medical, or professional advice. Use everything in the app as guidance — not as a final answer.

    Compass is offered by Find Love Safely, LLC. This page is a plain-language summary written to be easy to read. The full Find Love Safely Terms & Conditions are the master agreement and govern your use of Compass, including billing, automatic renewal, cancellation, disputes, and limits on liability. If anything on this page differs from the master Terms, the master Terms control.

    2. AI Has Limits

    Compass uses artificial intelligence to look at messages and to power Haven. AI can be wrong. Sometimes it will miss a scam, and sometimes it will flag a safe message. Always trust your gut and ask a trusted friend, family member, or caregiver if you're unsure.

    3. Your Account

    You're responsible for keeping your password safe and for what happens in your account. Don't share your login. If you think someone else got in, change your password and email us right away.

    4. Plan, Free Trial, Refunds, and Cancelling

    Compass is one plan: $14.99 per month. It starts with a 7-day free trial. We ask for your card before the trial starts. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your card is charged $14.99 and then $14.99 every month until you cancel. Prices shown at checkout control if they differ from this summary.

    30-day money-back guarantee. If you ask within 30 days of your first payment, we send that payment back, no questions asked, and your plan stops right away. You can do this yourself on the "My Account" page.

    After 30 days we do not give refunds. That includes unused time in a month you already paid for.

    Cancel any time. Go to "My Account" and choose "Cancel my plan," or use the billing portal from that page. Your plan does not renew again, and you can keep using Compass until the end of the month you already paid for. Some state laws give you extra cancellation and refund rights; those rights always win over this summary.

    5. How You Can Use It

    • Use it for your own safety and the safety of people you care about.
    • Don't use it to harass, abuse, threaten, or impersonate anyone.
    • Don't try to scrape, copy, or overload the service with bots.
    • Don't use it for anything illegal.

    We may suspend or remove accounts that break these rules.

    6. Who Can Use Compass

    Compass and ScamCheck are for adults age 18 and older. We do not knowingly let anyone under 18 create an account. If you believe someone under 18 is using Compass, please email us and we will delete the account.

    7. No Guarantees — We Cannot Offer 100% Protection

    Compass does not — and cannot — offer 100% protection from scams or harm, ever. Scammers change tactics constantly, and no tool, human, or AI catches every single one. A message marked "Safe" could still turn out to be a scam, and a message flagged as risky could still be from someone real.

    Compass is one extra layer of help — not a replacement for your own judgment, a trusted friend or family member, or a caregiver. If you're unsure, always ask someone you trust before sending money, sharing personal information, or meeting anyone in person.

    We provide Compass "as is." To the fullest extent allowed by law, Find Love Safely, LLC is not liable for any damages, losses, or harm that result from using — or not being able to use — Compass, including any scam or harm that gets through.

    8. Caregivers

    If you invite a caregiver, you're choosing to share a summary of your activity with them. You can remove a caregiver at any time from your account. Caregivers see summaries — not the actual contents of your messages.

    9. Emergencies

    Compass is not an emergency service. If you or someone you care about is in immediate danger, call 911 (or your local emergency number).

    10. Governing Law

    These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, USA. Disputes are handled the way the master Find Love Safely Terms & Conditions describe. That includes individual binding arbitration, a class-action waiver, and a 30-day window to opt out of arbitration after you first accept. Please read that section; it affects your rights.

    11. Changes

    We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top tells you when. Continued use of Compass means you accept the new terms.
